Q1: How do I report a tool issue?

To help us provide faster and more accurate technical support, please provide the following information:

  • Order Number
  • Model Number
  • Serial Number
  • Detailed description of the issue

Photos or videos of the problem are highly recommended, as they help our technical team diagnose the issue more efficiently.

You may contact your local distributor or reach out directly to SUMAKE headquarters in Taiwan for further assistance.


Q2: How do I know when consumable parts need replacement (e.g., carbon brushes or gear oil)?

A2:

To maintain optimal tool performance, we recommend following the maintenance guidelines provided in the User Manual.

If your tool shows any of the following signs, please stop operation immediately and contact us for inspection:

  • Abnormal heating
  • Unusual noise or vibration
  • Unstable operating speed
  • Reduced performance

Please provide the Model Number, Serial Number, and a description of the symptoms. Photos or videos are highly encouraged.

Our technical team will evaluate the condition and advise whether consumable parts or maintenance service are required.


Q3: Where can I purchase original spare parts or replacement components?

A3:

For the best service experience, we recommend contacting your original distributor or authorized sales channel first.

Q4: What is the warranty policy?

SUMAKE provides a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Warranty periods may vary depending on product category and regional policies. Please refer to the warranty card or product manual for detailed information.


·    Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers product failures caused by defects in materials or workmanship under normal operating conditions.


·    Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Consumable parts (such as carbon brushes, bearings, and rotors)
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper operation
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Lack of proper maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear

Tool Troubleshooting Table 

Issue

Possible Cause 

Solution 

Tool does not operate when air is connected with the air inlet

Operating rod is worn, damaged, or bent

Disassemble and repair 

Insufficient lubrication causing blades to stick inside the rotor

Rotate the anvil three turns counterclockwise using a hex wrench to release the blades. Add 1–2 drops of lubricant into the air inlet before operation.

Rust on internal components such as front plate, rotor, cylinder, or end plate

Disassemble the tool and clean or replace affected components.

Internal transmission components are damaged (planet gear, rotor cage, internal gear, or blades)

Disassemble the tool and replace damaged parts.

Bearings are excessively worn

Replace worn bearings and inspect for additional internal damage.

When air into air inlet, the tool run without press the trigger 

End housing O-ring is worn or damaged

Disassemble the tool and replace the O-ring.

Valve plate O-ring is worn or damaged

Disassemble the tool and replace the O-ring.

Unable to shut-off

Valve plate O-ring is worn or damaged

Disassemble the tool and replace the O-ring.

Spring inside the anvil is not positioned correctly (lever type models)

Disassemble the tool and reposition the spring correctly.

Rear clutch, center clutch, retainer, or ball bushing components are worn or damaged

Disassemble the tool and replace damaged components.

Maximum torque output is insufficient

Internal components such as front plate, rotor, cylinder, end plate, or bearings are rusty

Disassemble the tool and inspect affected components. Clean or replace parts as necessary.

Motor blades are worn or damaged

Replace worn blades and inspect motor condition.

Rear clutch is worn or damaged

Replace worn clutch components.

Torque spring has lost elasticity due to fatigue

Replace the torque spring.

Free speed is too low 

Air pressure is insufficient

Check the air supply system and ensure proper operating pressure.

Motor blades are worn or damaged

Replace worn blades and inspect internal motor components.
